Sam Sheridan

Sam Sheridan is a Senior Associate in our Melbourne office. He is a senior legal advisor to Claims Funding Australia Pty Ltd, the litigation funding arm and wholly owned subsidiary of Maurice Blackburn.

Sam has extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, including international and domestic arbitration. While Sam has managed a wide variety of commercial matters, his main area of focus has been on large-scale disputes.

“My focus is on delivering commercial outcomes on our funded matters and building long term relationships with our clients and legal service providers. At Claims Funding Australia, this is driven by an open, trusting and collaborative approach with our key partners,” says Sam.

Prior to joining Maurice Blackburn in August 2023, Sam worked at a number of leading Australian and international law firms, as well as within the Victorian Government agency delivering large-scale transport infrastructure projects. Since joining Maurice Blackburn, Sam has acted as a senior legal adviser to Claims Funding Australia Pty Ltd in relation to a broad range of funded matters.
